CSL Journal thanks QSLiN conference chair Julian Taylor, session convenor Chelsea Baker, and the three panelists for sharing this timely video presentation.
Last spring, the theme of the Quebec School Librarians Network (QSLiN) symposium was Celebrating Intellectual Freedom. Over 100 school library staff from nine English school boards in Quebec participated in this online event, exploring the challenges and successes of intellectual freedom in schools. In this edition of Canadian School Libraries Journal, we invite you to watch a recording of the session Open Pages, Open Minds: Navigating Freedom of Expression in Canadian Libraries. Presenters include Ontario Library Association Executive Director Michelle Arbuckle, CFLA Intellectual Freedom Committee Chair Michael Nyby, and CSL advocate for literacy and intellectual freedom, Anita Brooks Kirkland.
