School Libraries in Canada (SLiC) Online was a journal of the Canadian Association for School Libraries. CASL’s mission was to provide national support for the development and maintenance of excellence in Canada’s school libraries, media centres, and school library personnel. The Canadian Library Association continued to produce SLIC following the dissolution of CASL in 2011 under the guidance of its Voices for School Libraries Network.

School Libraries in Canada ceased publication in 2016, with the dissolution of the Canadian Library Association. The CLA transferred intellectual property rights for School Libraries in Canada archival content to Canadian School Libraries.

School Libraries in Canada (SLIC) Online était le journal professionnel du Canadian Association for School Libraries. La mission de CASL était de fournir un support à l’échelle nationale pour le développement et l’entretien de l’excellence dans les bibliothèques scolaires, centres médiatiques et pour le personnel travaillant dans les bibliothèques scolaires. L’Association canadienne des bibliothèques a continué à produire SLIC après la dissolution de CASL en 2011 sous la direction du Voices for School Libraries Network.
